Beginning Watercolor – Spring 2025
Wednesdays, March 12, 19, 26, April 2, 9, & 16 1:00-3:00 PM (6 class series)
This class teaches the fundamentals of transparent watercolor painting, from pigments to paper to
paintbrushes. Explore color theory, washes, resists, masks, crackles & blooms. Class sessions include
skill building exercises, guided paintings and serendipitous discovery.

-$175 per student FRAA ($195 non FRAA)
Materials Fee $10 – Includes basic paints, misc. tool use and instructional handouts.

If Peggy isn’t in a classroom, art studio or her garden, she might be found at a garage sale or wandering
around a hardware store imagining artistic uses for the objects she sees. Lines, shapes, textures, and
glorious color can be found everywhere. Peggy loves to translate the world around her into painted,
collaged & woven art.
