Painted Papers Collage – Cards with Peggy Ross
Wednesday, August 30, 10:00 am -1:00 pm Fees: $40 FRAA members ($45 non- members) PLUS $10 Supply fee includes all paint, paper, glue, tools and an assortment of card stock and envelopes.

Create collaged greeting cards with papers you embellish. 
Part One:  Paint and experiment.  Try out a range of demonstrated techniques to make textured and patterned papers.
Part Two:  Learn collage basics and use the colorful papers to create original greeting cards. All experience levels welcome. Bring a sense of adventure and playfulness.  Leave with original greeting cards, unique papers for future art, new skills and ideas. Students should bring to class: scissors and pencil & eraser.

About Peggy: If Peggy isn’t in a classroom, art studio or her garden, she might be found at a garage sale or wandering around a hardware store imagining artistic uses for the objects she sees.  Lines, shapes, textures, and glorious color can be found everywhere.  Peggy loves to translate the world around her into painted, collaged & woven art.
