The World in Black and White with Charla Stickland
One Day Workshop: Wednesday, April 5th, 3-5 pm
Cost: $40 for FRAA members, $45 for non-members
We will be working with tint, tone, and shade establishing the 8 tones between black and white.
Each student will then mix their tones according to the picture they paint.
The class will be working with acrylic paint and all supplies will be provided. We will either paint flowers or a lighthouse.
Charla grew up on a small farm in northwestern Wisconsin. She trained horses and gave riding lessons for 30 years and then went back to school to pursue her second passion in art. She graduated from Black Hills State University Fall of 2018. She has been traveling the past 3 years seeing and experiencing the world we live in. She has been to Australia and across the United States. She has no favorite Medium to work in, from charcoal to painting to stained glass to welding to woodworking and so on, she loves them all. Her love for nature and this universe is what you will experience in her art. She loves trying to create pieces that touch people’s hearts.
