
Intermediate Traditional Stained Glass Class – Lead Technique
Limit of 5 people per class.
Thursday May 1, 15 and 29 (3 class series), 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
NOTE: This is traditional Stained Glass, we will be working with Lead.
This class will review the fundamentals of creating a stained glass piece. The focus will be on learning how to use the tools for stained glass, setting your board up, color theory, and composition. You will gain skills in cutting glass, grinding edges of glass, fitting glass in lead, how to cut the lead, and solder it together. You will be working with straight and curved edges. The stained glass finish product will be no bigger than 12 inches tall by 10 inches wide.
$165 FRAA member/ $180 non FRAA member

Student Supply List: Charla will be supplying all tools and lead, zinc came, solder, and assortment of Stained Glass.
NOTE: If you want special colors you will have to bring your own glass.

About Charla:
She loves teaching students about Art starting with the basics concepts and across into different mediums. She enjoys working with several different mediums and also likes to cross mediums together to see what can be created. She loves to get out and explore the world around her and try to see how she can bring it back to her art.
