Painted Paper Card and Collage Workshop with Peggy Ross

In the first part of this workshop, students will create textured and patterned papers, trying out
techniques and ideas. In the second portion of the class the colorful papers will become collage
materials for card making. Think: Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, birthday, thank-you or just I’m
thinking of you cards. All supplies are provided, bring a sense of adventure and playfulness.​​

ABOUT Peggy
If Peggy isn’t in a classroom, art studio or her garden, she might be found at a garage sale or wandering
around a hardware store imagining artistic uses for the objects she sees. Lines, shapes, textures, and
glorious color can be found everywhere. Peggy loves to translate the world around her into weaving
and tapestry, a very satisfying way to make art.
